**EKEDC Tennis Championship Draws to a Thrilling Conclusion**
Ikoyi, April 26 – The eagerly anticipated EKEDC Team event Tennis Championship, organized by the Eko Electricity Distribution Company, is set to reach its exciting pinnacle today at the prestigious Ikoyi Club 1938.
Over the past five days, members of the elite club, divided into Blue and Red groups representing various EKEDC units, have fiercely battled for tennis supremacy.
According to the Tennis Section Chairman, Diran Famakinwa, the tournament has witnessed exceptional performances and a spirit of camaraderie among the players. Vice Chairman Evans Uko expressed confidence that the final day would be an exhilarating spectacle.
In the Red Group, teams from Ibeju, Orile, Island, and Lekki districts will vie for honors in Groups A and B. The Blue Group will feature teams from Agbara, Ijora, FESTAC, and Apapa districts, also competing in Groups A and B.
After two days of intense competition, FESTAC and Ijora districts lead the Blue Group with 30 and 29 cumulative points, respectively, closely followed by Agbara District with 27 points.
Lady Captain Oluwawemimo Ogunsanya hailed the enthusiastic participation of members throughout the tournament. “Our club came together for this event, and it has been an unmitigated success,” she said.
